Если сомневающийся в этом читатель отныне станет обращать внимание на эту тонкость, то он быстро убедится в этом сам. Я мог бы привести здесь много примеров в обоснование своей точки зрения, но ограничусь лишь одним, взятым из книги о династии Романовых The Romanovs, by Virginia Cowles, Harper & Row. Этот пример относится ко времени воцарения Николая I, когда из-за нежелания Константина Павловича взойти на российский престол возникла заминка, приведшая в конечном итоге к восстанию декабристов.Not only was he [ Constantine] satisfied with his job as a Viceroy of Poland but determined to continue living in Warsaw with his Polish wife.
